SNOW DAY

30cm of snow is nothing, right? WRONG. This is the most snow I have seen in a longggg time. It's kind of exciting, until you have to go out anywhere and are forced to freeze your butt off for 10 mins while you scrape the snow and ice off your car. Not so fun!! But, besides all that, the snow does have a nice youthfulness to it. 

My sisters and I decided to take advantage of the snow day. We got all bundled up and headed outside, only to come back in with our toes feeling numb hahaha. 

Snow angels, snow forts (and an awesome one at that) and yes, one of us got buried. What a trooper!! 

We then came inside to some warm hot chocolate and thawed ourselves out. The presidents choice decadent chocolate chip cookie hot chocolate (what a mouthful, no pun intended) is our new go-to and it's actually quite delicious! I would highly recommend it- not sickly, and doesn't require any extra milk or anything. Just pure yumminess. 

As Ana always says, do you want to build a snowman???

***Note: I have still yet to watch Frozen. I know, it's shocking. Mostly because my sister is obsessed so I have refrained from watching it in her presence so as to avoid hearing her belt out all the songs. But, sooner or later, I will have to watch it....and I too will become obsessed.

Night Changes

So up until today (of course) there was barely any snow on the ground and it almost didn't even feel like winter.. times have now changed, and it is freezing outside!! Let's reminisce to warmer days shall we??

The cropped knitted sweater is one of my favs and was $10 from Urban Outfitters. Also from Urban Outfitters are my adorably cute cream coloured frilly socks (quite the description whewww). The skirt and scarf that I'm wearing are from Primark. I kept this outfit very neutral and wore a variety of beiges and browns. If only the ground looked like this right now!! Spring is just around the corner right??

My Everything

I am probably the worst blogger in the history of blogs. Well.. maybe not the worst, but I feel like being inconsistent with your posts probably isn't the best thing to do haha. So I apologize. Anyway, here is a cozy autumn look that is super easy to do (yes.. I realize it is now winter, but with no snow on the ground it does still feel a bit like fall, so that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!).

This is an old knitted sweater of my mom's that paired well with my Joe Fresh leggings ($5) since it was a bit bigger on me and felt very relaxed and comfy. The boots I'm wearing are also my mom's and they are fantastic! Such a nice deep brown colour. If you have tiny little chicken legs like me *sad face* then these boots are perfect, because they are tighter than most around the calves. I always have a hard time finding tall boots that do not look ridiculous on my slender legs haha so I love these ones!! The beautiful scarf I am wearing is from a little vintage boutique and has so many gorgeous shades of brown in it, so it was a perfect way to tie all the colours together! I am also wearing "Sultry" by Revlon on my lips, which is a shade that I am obsessed with! It is perfect for fall/winter, and is super long lasting. I would highly suggest it!!
